The Egyptian goddess Sekhmet brings the cleansing fire.

Sixth Meditation: January 1 - January 8

This is a very difficult one.

The Egyptian goddess, Sekhmet, was the goddess of war, pestilence and disease. She was also the goddess of healing. Old structures must be burnt away so that new growth can occur. Sekhmet brings the cleansing fire that allows this process of re-growth to occur.

This is the cycle that we now face as Americans. We must be willing to confront and dismantle all the things about our society that are not working. However this progress can only occur in the interior space - the causal and mental plane where all creation actually begins.
