Meditations for America VI: Introduction
Background and an introduction to the sixth
round of meditations in advance of the 2008 presidential election.
Introduction to Meditations for America
VI
It's time for another round
of Meditations for America. Now, more than ever before, America needs to WAKE
UP! So please join us.
Meditations
for America is guided, group meditation intended to awaken the American national
consciousness, or group mind. This work is accomplished on the mental and
spiritual planes, so we don't have to do anything more strenuous than a focused
meditation once a week. Only Americans can do this work as only Americans have
access to our race-consciousness. In other words, you have to be in the room in
order to be heard.
These
meditations are in no way exclusionary or elitist (America vs. the world) but
rather attempt to acknowledge three things: America wields unchallenged power in
the world, our government typically acts in contradiction to the will of the
people, and enlightenment begins at home. If you follow this thread to its'
conclusion, you realize that as awakened individuals we bear a direct
responsibility for the state of our country. To the extent that you hold moral
objection to our actions in the world, you are obligated to try and affect
change. We choose to do this through the causal sphere (the mental and spiritual
planes) rather than through exoteric expressions (demonstrations, marches, etc.
- but those are okay, too ;-)
You
might be wondering how a small handful of us can have any impact on the group
mind of 300 million people? This is one of the amazing things about work on the
inner planes. You know the old adage, "When two or more are gathered together in
my name..."? The concentrated mental effort of even just six or seven people,
when focused and channeled in the proper way over time, can "engage the levers
of heaven" to create vastly disproportionate results. We have been given
specific instructions as to how we should proceed in this regard and these are
reflected in the nature and structure of the
meditations.
I hope you're willing
to invest 15 minute each week in the future of our country, and the
world.
